About Josh

Josh graduated with a Masters in Art from New York University. For a number of years, he wrote reviews for Arts Magazine. His work has been selected for group shows in New York City and he curated a show for the Arsenal Gallery in Central Park, NYC.

Josh's work portrays plant forms as a metaphor for his life journey. Plants begin as simple living systems but quickly mature and become quite complex in their structure. Plants are very adaptive and often overcome challenges that may otherwise stunt their growth.

Josh's work is gestural and attempts to create an understanding between painter and audience regarding the complexity of life and how we are able to overcome challenges and flourish.
